Hi everyone! I know a lot of people who love gardening, especially my mum. I tend to get her some gardening gifts when it rolls around to her Birthday or Christmas, and they usually make for very nice gifts too. So I wanted to make a small list to help you out and show you what’s available 🙂 So if you know someone who loves gardening, let us help you out with our Top 15 Gardening Gifts!

1
The Gardeners Gift Basket£28.95

Wwell, you can’t go wrong with a little pamper set for your gardening loved one.  These would be great gardening gifts for gardening lovers. There’s little snacks to enjoy which sounds like a nice treat whilst tending to your garden.  Even if you enjoy gardening, there’s nothing better than kicking back and looking over all your hard work after. And then topping it off with some nice food and drink to celebrate.

Your loved ones will thank you for it!

Personalised Planter£29.99

Personalised Planter Graphic Image Credit: Prezzybox

This is pretty cute, it’s perfect for little succulents or herb pots.  It stops things from getting messy! And to top it all off, there is a little metal strip here you can add your own personalised message to 🙂 So if you’re looking for gardening gifts that send a message, well then this would be pretty perfect.  You could even pair this with your own little set of potted plants to make it even more special.

I would recommend succulents or even cacti for someone who may like gardening but may not necessarily be good at it…   Since it’s really hard to kill succulents and cacti!

Indoor Allotment£13.97

An indoor allotment is basically like a little herb garden but for inside your house!  It’s pretty simple and they can look really nice, especially on a kitchen windowsill 🙂  I’ve been wanting to get one for quite some time, but the problem is I kill all my plants!  Not intentionally, it just seems to happen…

Anyway, I always thought an indoor allotment would make lovely gardening gifts for parents who enjoy gardening and maybe grandparents.  They could actually make quite nice housewarming gifts too! I guess they’re great for most occasions, just make sure you gift it to someone who enjoys their gardening 😀

4
Garden Gnome Massacre Figure£19.99

Garden Gnome Massacre Figure Graphic Image Credit: Prezzybox

If you want gardening gifts that are a little bit different, well then you’ve come to the right place! This is just the ticket, a garden gnome massacre.  I don’t actually know that many people with garden gnomes anymore, but saying that I do have one of my own 😀 I’d love to have this particular figure though, although I think it’d certainly concern my neighbours.  I’m not sure I’m ready to show them just how weird I am!

I think this would be a really funny gift if you have a dad that loves his gardening.  Surely this is almost dad joke level?

Seed Balls£19.99

Seed Balls Graphic Image Credit: Prezzybox

I love these as gardening gifts!  But here’s how bad I am at growing things.  A few years ago, I got a butterfly seed mix that I tried to grow.  I had some planters ready and I sprinkled some seeds in it. With excitement I waited and low and behold I started to see little sprouts! Alas, they were not my little seedlings… they were weeds.  I didn’t actually know they were weeds until my mum pissed herself laughing at me and told me that I was growing weeds.

It’s funny now, and they did eventually grow, but I stopped watching for them because it seems that doesn’t work! Anyway, I’m sure this would be better for a more seasoned gardener! Or at least someone who knows the difference between sprouts and weeds…

Kitchen Mushroom Garden£19.99

Kitchen Mushroom Garden Graphic Image Credit: Firebox

Now I can’t be that bad at gardening that I can’t even grow mushrooms because this looks as easy as it gets.  There’s a short video showing you how it works, and I’ve got to be honest I’m pretty interested. Although, the only thing that comes to mind when growing mushrooms is that episode of Hannibal.  Did any of you ever watch it? It’s certainly interesting, and I would recommend it 😀 I have to warn though, if you’re squeamish, then maybe give it a bit of a miss.

Otherwise, this would make another of those great gardening gifts which can be grown on a kitchen windowsill.  I’m very tempted to get one of these and try it for myself.

Grow Your Own Bonsai Tree£12.99

Grow Your Own Bonsai Tree Graphic Image Credit: Prezzybox

You guys don’t want to know how many plants we’ve had that I‘ve accidentally killed… As much as I would love to grow my own bonsai tree, I think it’s already doomed.  I just don’t think I have much of a green thumb (or patience!) Also, I don’t trust my cats to not eat whatever I decide to grow. They’re been known to knock things off tables.

But if you have a loved one that loves gardening then “grow your own” kits make fantastic gardening gifts. There’s actually a number of different kits you can get, .  You’ll know best what your family and friends will like. But ultimately, you can’t really go wrong with a bonsai tree!

Egglings£9.99

Egglings Graphic Image Credit: Firebox

Just like the animal planters, these make for really cute gardening gifts.  These are really easy gardening gifts for those who might struggle with planting their own plants.  They are seemingly full proof, and yet again I think I’m going to have to try these out to test this.  All these require are for you to crack the top of the egg and add water. The seeds are already inside the peat, so next is to put it somewhere with lots of light.  And then you should have your little plant!

They should be ready for re-potting after roughly 5 months (not sure mine would last that long).  Additionally you can crush the egg casing up and use it as fertiliser when it’s been re-potted. I think that’s a pretty nifty little idea!

Gardening Hamper£60

If you’re looking for gardening gifts for a keen gardener, I’d definitely recommend this little gardeners hamper.  Usually a gardeners hamper will contain some form of self care bits like hand creams. This however comes with an assortment of gardening bits as well as self care bits! There are some labelling sticks, a bird apple feeder, soap, some sweets and more 🙂

These are fun little gifts ideas for a garden lover.

Dinosaur Planters£29.99

Dinosaur Planters Graphic Image Credit: Firebox

These are so cool! Who wants boring old planters when you could get one of these bad boys? Just look at them, it’s basically like having a pokemon.  Remember Bulbasaur with his little bulb on his back? Well it’s like that but with actual dinosaurs. These would make pretty cool dinosaur gifts. Which one would you want? Let me know in the comments 😀

Again, I think these would make really cool housewarming gifts as well as gardening gifts in general. Don’t you?

Gardening Hat£16.99

Maybe you’re looking for some fun gardening gifts, if so, then you’ve come to the right place.  This is a great little gardening gift idea, a little umbrella hat! If you don’t garden much, then you might not understand how handy these are.  Even when it’s raining, there are times when you need to tend to your garden. And this will help keep your loved one nice and dry (at least the head) whilst they rummage around outside.

Additionally it’s great for other outdoor activities that may require more hands.  Maybe for a dog walker or someone who likes fishing!

Gardening Plaque£3.99

Now this is a dad joke level gardening gift idea.  What gardening loving dad wouldn’t love this? This would make a pretty nice filler present I think.  If you know someone with a little tool/gardening shed, this would be the perfect place to set this plaque on.  Or it could be good as a little joke present. Either way, it’s pretty cheap so you can’t go wrong with using it as a filler gift.

Bird Hotel£6.77

I’ve found a lot of sweet gardening gifts for this list, and I think this is a sweet one.  This isn’t necessarily a gardening gift, but it’s related to gardens. A little Bird Hotel!  If you know someone who loves their gardening, then chances are they love the wild birds that come with it.  I know I certainly do. The only reason that we don’t have a bird house is because of our furry little gremlins (cats).  Otherwise I wouldn’t think twice about getting one.

If you’re loved one doesn’t have this problem, then it would make a really lovely little gardening gift idea. It’s simple and cheap, and is camouflaged in fairly nicely with it’s other surroundings. I’d really consider bird houses as nice little gardening gifts.

Gardening Gloves With Claws£1.52

So maybe  you know someone who has all the tools that they need, or perhaps they need something a little extra.  Well, if that’s the case then I’d really consider getting them a pair of these! If you have a friend or family member that wants to pretend that they’re Wolverine while gardening, these would be the perfect gardening gift for them. They’re handy (get it) because they have little claws which help you dig up the earth with your hands.  That way, you’re not running around the garden trying to find where you left your trowel.

They also have a lot of good reviews, as with most things on my gifts list I’m very tempted by them myself.  If I get them, I’ll have to let you know how I got on 😀

Drinking Animal Planters£10.99

Drinking Animal Planters Graphic Image Credit: Firebox

These are super cute, if you look closely they have a little felt tongues that you can dip in water which slowly warters your plant! You can get the planter in large or small form.  And you can get them as a cat, dog, panda or frog. Because of the felt tongue, it makes these little guys perfect for when you go away. You’re not having to worry about if your plants will be ok when you’re off on adventures!

Talking about these little guys, they might actually be the solution to all my plants dying.  Especially because you don’t just have to use the felt tongues for when you go away. I think I’m onto something. In any case though, because of this they make excellent gardening gifts.  Maybe something to think about in the run up to Christmas! 😉

That’s all I’ve got for today my friends! I hope you’ve enjoyed my gardening gifts list as much as I’ve enjoyed researching for it 🙂 There’s tons of updates I’ll add to this over time, but I didn’t want this to be too overwhelming.  As it gets closer to Christmas I’ll be going back and updating what I can so that you’re all ready. And you’re probably cursing my name as I mention Christmas already, but it’s better to be prepared.

Remember to get in touch if you’re stuck for ideas, as I’ll be happy to help you find something suitable whatever the occasion 😀
